Challenge:

Property Scout's landing page wasn't converting visitors into leads. The cluttered interface, non-intuitive navigation, and lack of lead capture opportunities hindered user engagement.

My Approach:

I focused on a user-centric approach to improve Property Scout's landing page and drive signups, saved searches, and leads. The goal was to create a streamlined experience that facilitates property searches and encourages user interaction.

Prioritizing User Needs:

Through user research, I identified key pain points: difficulty finding desired properties, lack of personalization, and unclear benefits of saving searches. The new design prioritizes these needs through:

  • Simplified Homepage: A clean layout featuring a prominent search bar, enticing featured listings, and a clear call-to-action for signup.

  • Intuitive Navigation: A user-friendly menu with clear labels helps users navigate seamlessly.

  • Personalized Recommendations: Leverage browsing data (if permitted) to suggest relevant properties, keeping users engaged.

Driving Lead Generation:

I implemented several strategies to capture leads:

  • Enhanced Search Filters: Granular search filters allow users to refine results based on specific criteria, leading them to their ideal property faster.

  • Saving Searches Made Easy: A clear explanation of the benefits of saving searches, coupled with a user-friendly system, encourages users to personalize their search experience.

  • Multiple Lead Capture Opportunities:

    • A helpful chatbot assists users with basic questions and guides their search.

    • Virtual tour requests allow users to explore properties further and capture user information.

    • Lead capture forms are strategically placed to capture user interest at key touchpoints.

Results:

By prioritizing user needs and implementing these strategic improvements, the redesigned landing page fosters a user-friendly and engaging experience. This translates to increased user signups, saved searches, and leads, ultimately generating more potential customers for Property Scout.
